BROTHERS & SISTER'S

I'll never understand why they had to cancel Brothers & Sisters it was one the best shows on Television, with its warmth and humour I found myself looking forward to each episode every week.  Not only did we watch the Walkers struggle to deal with the secrets of William Walkers past but they pulled together time and time again to support one another.

Oscar Winning actress Sally Field was a delight to watch as Nora Walker the headstrong yet sympathetic mother of five - who brought us laughter ,tears and many tender moments with the unconditional love of her children.

All of the walker children Sarah, Tommy, Kitty, Kevin and Justin drew us in to the drama of their lives every week and left us hungry for more.  It's really sad that they cancelled such a great show.  Each week it took us through a host of emotions in just one hour as we eagerly watched the drama unfold in each of Walkers lives. We laughed as Nora and Holly had food fights and argued time and again until finally coming to terms with one another.

We cried when Kitty was diagnosed with Cancer and then when she lost Robert and we rooted for Kevin and Scotty to have a child.  We were sad when Justin went off to Afghanistan but overjoyed when he returned safe and sound, and oh how we drooled and enjoyed  the tender scenes with Sarah and Luke.

This was truly an amazing ensemble cast that delivered each and every week. If only the writers could have kept up the delightful banter and dramatic story lines, instead they seem to have given up by season five  which lead to low ratings and frustrated fans. This show and ensemble cast will be missed. Somebody call a walker to spread the word  that we want this show back!
